Mac Jones has been handling the pressure of being the Patriots starting quarterback in year one better than anyone has expected. And perhaps there’s a reason for that.
Jones has been under the spotlight ever since he was a young kid.
During his weekly appearance on weekly appearance on WEEI, the Patriots rookie was asked about his first job. While most people would point to some sort of delivery or restaurant job, Mac Jones turned some heads with his response.
When Mac was a boy, his parents had him involved in some modeling gigs.
Asked on @MerloniFauria about his first job, Mac Jones said he was a child model.
“There are a few commercials you can try and find.”

Shortly after the interview, the internet did its thing and dug up some old pictures of Mac Jones doing some modeling.

Mac Jones claimed his teammates probably knew about his first job. Although after these photos are now circling the web, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the veterans use it to troll their young QB.
Now, we have to find the footage of the commercials.
Despite being the fifth quarterback taken off the board in the NFL Draft, Jones has shined in the Patriots’ system, and currently sits as one of the favorites to win the coveted Rookie of the Year award.
Things are getting back to normal in New England. And a lot of that has to do with the rise of Mac Jones as an NFL quarterback.
