Kwame Brown Calls Out ‘Fake Leader’ Anthony Davis

Former NBA player Kwame Brown calls it like he sees it.

Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard got into a bit of a shoving match over the weekend. The two Los Angeles Lakers stars were seen yelling at each on the bench as the game against the Phoenix Suns started getting out of hand.

The former Lakers big man called out Anthony Davis for his improper leadership and disrespecting a “grown man” in Dwight Howard.

“The Anthony Davis situation – I think that was terrible,” said Brown. “I think Anthony Davis is a very talented player. But Anthony Davis, in my opinion, you’re no leader. Because you called this man Dwight Howard your brother? Let me explain what you just did for your brother. Dwight Howard is a veteran in this league. That should come with a little bit of respect.”

AD revealed that the argument was about a specific play, from a missed assignment on defense.

“Just a pick-and-roll scene,” Davis explained. “That was it. All of us are still trying to figure it out on the defensive end. Something happened. I was saying one thing, he was saying another on the scheme and one thing led to another. Like I said, we talked about it and we left it in the locker room at halftime.”

Howard also made it out to be nothing, “We squashed it right then and there.”

He continued, “We just had a disagreement about something that was on the floor. We’re both very passionate about winning. We didn’t want to lose this game, so we’re just passionate. We got it out the way. We’re grown men. Things happen. But we are going to squash this little issue between me and him, and that’s my brother, that’s my teammate.”

The NBA always brings the drama, as does Kwame Brown.
