Jordy Nelson Calls Out The Packers For Mistreating Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson carved up defenses for many years with the Green Bay Packers. The quarterback-receiver duo was consistently one of the top pairs in the NFL until Jordy Nelson left Green Bay, and retired shortly after.

So it was no surprise that Nelson has come to the aid of Aaron Rodgers during the reported turmoil between the quarterback and his organization.

Jordy Nelson appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and roasted the packers over their decision to draft Jordan Love when Rodgers is still playing at an elite level.

“I don’t know what they’re doing,” Nelson said, via 247Sports. “I can’t answer any of those questions. It’s mind-blowing sometimes, especially when he comes out and has an MVP year, and they don’t want to commit or do whatever they want to do to show appreciation or whatever it is for the next two years. It seems like it’d be a pretty easy and simple move that, I would say, 100%, if not 99.9% of people would agree with. So, they can’t be worried about backlash or anything.”

Aaron Rodgers is coming off another dominant season, leading the Packers to the NFC Championship game and taking home the league’s MVP honors.

A lot of people around the game are speculating that the rift between Rodgers and the Packers organization might lead to him ending his career with another team.

Jordy Nelson certainly isn’t the only person who has been critical of how the Packers are dealing with their franchise quarterback.
