If Not For Derrick Henry Going Down, Adrian Peterson May Have Been a Reality Show Contestant

Adrian Peterson is ancient in terms of running backs in the NFL.

While most running backs wouldn’t dream of having a job at his age, the hard-running Peterson seems to still have some use.

When Tennessee Titans’ star running back Derrick Henry went down with an injury, the Titans wanted to find someone that would allow them to continue to compete without entirely changing the run-heavy offence.

Mr. Peterson fit the bill.

Peterson and the Titans were able to establish a solid run game against the Los Angeles Rams vaunted defence. Peterson even managed to punch in a touchdown.

According to his agent, Ron Slavin, the Titans contract may have cost popular reality show Dancing With the Stars a contestant!

According to agent Ron Slavin of SportStars, while Peterson was training in an attempt to play a 15th season, a representative from Dancing with the Stars reached out to the running back about a possible stint on the show. One of the most popular shows on TV, Dancing with the Stars would have been something Peterson considered.

Peterson can hold off on his reality show dreams for a bit. At least until Derrick Henry is ready to return.
