New York Giants Super Bowl Winner Calls On Joe Judge To Fire Jason Garrett

After being let go by the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett was hired as the New York Giants offensive coordinator and play-caller.

So far, the experiment isn’t going well.

Garett has failed to mesh well with quarterback Daniel Jones, which was on full display when the unit sputtered against a lackluster Atlanta Falcons defense on Sunday.

After the game, former Giants kicker and Super Bowl champ Lawrence Tynes took to social media to call on coach Joe Judge to make a tough decision on Jason Garrett.

Despite many Giants fans joining Lawrence Tynes in wishing that Joe Judge would end the Jason Garrett tenure, the head coach stood by his offensive coordinator on Monday.

โ€œJoe Judge said offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and defensive coordinator Patrick Graham will continue to call the plays for their units this week,โ€ Giants insider Ralph Vacchiano reported. โ€œSo no major changes there for the Giants.โ€

Jason Garrett has had to deal with a slew of injuries to players on his offense. But at a certain point, you have to be able to show that progress is being made. And I’m not sure Garett has much of an argument.

The Giants are now 0-3, and it would seem likely that Jason Garrett will make his way back to the unemployment line if his offense continues down this path.
