Flag Football Game with Doug Flutie & Tracy McGrady Closes Out An Awesome Super Bowl Week in Tampa Bay

For the 21st year, Celebrity Sweat and ESPN put on their annual Super Bowl Flag Football event, and it was unlike any before.

The event, which was in an enclosed “COVID-19 bubble” on Pier 60 in Clearwater Beach, FL, brought together NFL legend Doug Flutie and NBA superstar Tracy McGrady to go head-to-head with their own celebrity teams in a fun game to raise funds for the air force base in Tampa Bay. Joining Flutie’s team were Andre Reed, Tory Lanez, Jason Tartick, Blake Horstmann, Gordie Gronkowski, R-Truth, Titus O’Neil, Branon McManus and other stars. While McGrady’s team had The Miz, Peter Weber, Jack Harlow, Devin Hester, Anthony Pettis, Simeon Rice, Ulysses Diaz, Obi Melifonwu and others. The event also brought together countless military and first responders, who got to play alongside their favorite celebrities and athletes.

While it was all fun and games, the players had to undergo strict COVID testing and restrictions prior to entering the “bubble” playing beach field. At the end of the day though, Team McGrady won, with UFC’s Ulysses Diaz taking home MVP honors, and NFLer Doug Flutie, Bachelor star Jason Tartick and WWE’s R-Truth split time with the 24/7 WWE Belt during an action-packed half-time show.

For their time and efforts – beyond giving back to the military – the stars walked home with speciality gift bags that included exclusive Ultra-Premium Full Spectrum CBD Oil by Cannanine / iHeartDogs.com, one-of-a-kind designer pouches from Tracy McGrady’s fashion line, the hottest food tracking system SmartPlate, gift packs by Reign Total Body Fuel, clothing created just for the event by Swagify.com, cocktail beverages by VIDE and other unique items.
