Celtics center Enes Kanter has continued his attacks on China and its American business partners by targeting longtime Nike spokesman LeBron James.
On Twitter, Kanter called out James:
“Money over Morals for the “King,” Kanter said. “Sad & disgusting how these athletes pretend they care about social justice They really do “shut up & dribble” when Big Boss [China] says so. Did you educate yourself about the slave labor that made your shoes or is that not part of your research?”

In addition to his criticism of James, Kanter’s tweet also included photos of some new sneakers that he’s expected to wear with messages targeting the Lakers star.

Back in October, Kanter offered to book tickets for him and Phil Knight to visit China and “try to visit these SLAVE labor camps and you can see it with your own eyes.” Kanter offered for James and Jordan to come along too and shared photos of shoes reading “modern day slavery,” “made with slave labor,” “Hypocrite Nike” and “no more excuses.”

Kanter has become an outspoken human rights advocate in recent years and is currently estranged from his native Turkey for criticizing its government.
