Via Daily Mail:

“‘When a 7-foot-1, 300-pound man has his hand wrapped around your neck, there’s really not a lot you can do,’ Peterson wrote.

She also references Chamberlain’s memoir where he detailed his history of romantic relationships with women – which he claimed to be 20,000.

‘I had to wonder how many of those women actually consented to having sex with him,’ Peterson added.”

She also shared her story of Wilt’s sexual assault with People.com:

“Why didn’t I try to scream, fight back, or get away? When a seven- foot-one, 300-pound man has his hand wrapped around your neck, there’s really not a lot you can do,” she writes in the book. “Should I have reported him to the police? Are you kidding? What chance do you think a former showgirl/ out-of-work actress would have against a sports superstar?”

Chamberlain died of congestive heart failure at 63 on October 12, 1999.

Tough beat for Wilt’s legacy.
