Dennis Schroder Sends a Message to the Haters After Signing $5.9M Contract With Celtics

Dennis Schroder made a huge mistake, he turned down a very fair offer from the Lakers, instead choosing to become a free agent. His thinking was that he’d make far more money in Free Agency than the extension offer the Lakers proposed. Schroder bet on himself and lost. The market for Schoder’s services was non existent, and he was forced to sign a one year deal with the Celtics.

Basically he lost out on $75 million.

The internet has been pretty rough on the former Lakers guard.

So naturally he reacted to the hate on IG.

“I’m proud to announce that for the 2021-22 season I’ll be playing for the Boston Celtics!” Schroder wrote on Instagram. “This is one of the best franchises in NBA history and it will be a honour to put on the green and white and do what I love! I’m going out there every night and leaving it all on the floor for the city!! Who’s ready?”

Then he referenced the haters:

You know everyone is going to keep the same energy until he actually gets paid, so expect at least another year of roasting Schroder.
