Demaryius Thomas’ Cause of Death Has Been Revealed

Late on Thursday night a rumor hit the net that was hard to believe, former Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas had died. So far on the cause of death, there’s been a lot of unknowns, with most reports pointing to medical complications stemming from a car crash he was involved in back in 2019.

Now we’re learning some more info on the cause of death.

That medical complication that he suffered  is now thought to be a seizure. According to Thomas’ first cousin, LaTonya Bonseigneur, the former NFL All Pro had a seizure while in the shower.

“He had been suffering from seizures for over a year, and we believe he had a seizure when he was showering,” Bonseigneur said, via ESPN’s Jeff Legwold. “We’re not sure when he died. We just spoke with him yesterday.”

The former Bronco Thomas was involved a car accident back in 2019 when he rolled his vehicle.

Thomas was arrested and charged with vehicular assault as a result of that single car accident.

More information will certainly come forward but no foul play was suspected.  In the meantime condolences continue to pour in:

RIP Demaryius Thomas.
