Boomer Esaison Was Apparently Pranked About The Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl Boycott

Yesterday, the internet almost broke after Boomer Esaison went in to detail that he received a text saying  Aaron Rodgers would threaten to boycott the Super Bowl if the Green Bay Packers made it to the big game.

Here is the full breakdown of what went down on the WFAN radio show.

While the internet had a field day yesterday spinning their own thoughts, this morning, it looks as though Boomer got pranked.

Boomer and his crew stated that after they did a little more talking and thinking, that they believe they were pranked.

Aaron Rodgers even took to Twitter last night to show his displeasure of the “prank”.

The Twitter account that tweeted the clip from the show apologized Saturday morning. The account also stated that it had been receiving multiple death threats after posting the clip.

It definitely seemed like a bit of a stretch for Aaron Rodgers to even think of boycotting the Super Bowl, but hey, we have seen some pretty weird things this season, let alone this week! CC: Antonio Brown.
