Baker Mayfield’s wife Emily is standing up for her man.
The Cleveland Browns had another tough loss this past weekend, and they became the first team in NFL history to score 40 points, produce 500 yards of offense with zero turnovers, and still lose the game.
Baker Mayfield felt the refs blew some calls, and let everyone know it, which will probably result in a fine.

Baker threw for 305 yards and two touchdowns, and for whatever reason, fans were attacking him? At least that’s the story according to his wife Emily. She took to Instagram to share a message for those haters.

Sounds like Emily wants us to feel sorry for Baker. She claims he’s not getting the credit he deserves for turning around the franchise.
She sounds delusional. While the Browns are much better than they used to be, they’re still far from elite.
And who’s to say Baker is the reason for any of their success. One can argue they’d be much better off with another QB under center.
