Report: Even A Super Bowl Wouldn’t Change Aaron Rodgers’ Mind about Leaving Green Bay

All offseason, we heard rumors that Aaron Rodgers was willing to forego his entire 2021 salary by not showing up to the Packers if he was not traded.

But while he admitted that he requested a trade at one point, Rodgers still showed up to Training camp. And so far, the decision has paid off.

The Packers sit atop the NFC standings, the defense looks much improved, and Rodgers hasn’t skipped a beat. With all that being the case, the Green Bay faithful have high hopes for a Super Bowl this season.

But according to a report, Aaron Rodgers will still want out of Green Bay no matter where “the Pack” finish by the end of their season.

ESPN’s Diana Russini went on “Get Up” this morning to share this belief.

“The sense I get from talking to different people around the league is that there is going to be more drama to follow, and that Aaron Rodgers is most likely going to leave the Green Bay Packers organization. … I don’t think a Super Bowl is going to matter.”

Despite battling a toe injury and missing a week due to COVID, Aaron Rodgers still remains locked in a tight battle with Tom Brady for this year’s MVP. And he’s proven that he can still play at an elite level for many years to come.

If Rodgers were to leave Green Bay in the offseason, he’d most definitely have many suitors. Mainly, the Broncos, Steelers, Saints, Giants, Falcons could be in need of a quarterback for next season. But I’m sure we’ll hear more teams enter the fold if Rodgers were to hit the market.

Aaron Rodgers has had one hell of a run in Green Bay. And perhaps he can add a second Super Bowl to his mantle before leaving the city.
