Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones might have a massive problem on his hands.
25 year-old Alexandra Davis is suing the longtime owner, alleging that he’s her father.
According to the suit obtained by the Dallas Morning News, Davis’ mother, Cynthia, settled a suit with Jones in the 1990s for him to pay her child support throughout her childhood. However, now Alexandra wants no part of that original settlement agreement.
Per the report:
Alexandra Davis is asking a court to find that she isn’t legally bound by the agreement between Jones and her mother if she were to attempt to legally establish that he is her father. She doesn’t want to be sued or lose her financial trusts. She is also seeking declaration from the court that such settlement agreements should be “unenforceable” in Texas.

Jerry Jones made his fortune in the oil industry as a young businessman, and officially purchased the Cowboys in 1989. According to Alexandra Davis, she would have been born about six-seven years after he purchased the team.
The lawsuit would go on to reveal that Cynthia Davis was a married desk agent for American Airlines when she met Jones. Her marriage would “dissolve” shortly thereafter — when a paternity test revealed her husband was not the father of Alexandra.
According to the NY Post, Jerry Jones provided $27,000 to help with her divorce and $30,000 in cash during negotiations, and later a $375,000 lump sum. He also provided monthly payments for child support.
It’s unclear why Alexandra Davis is seeking out this lawsuit at this time.
