Watch: Latest Panthers-Patriots Practice Fight Leads to Players Landing on Woman

Another joint practice, another fight.

The tension between the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers has been palpable all week long. The two teams have been participating in a joint practice schedule this week ahead of their preseason game this weekend. Yesterday’s joint practice saw plenty of fights break out, and once again tempers flared today as another fight broke out.  According to Tom E. Curran of NBC Sports Boston, the most recent fight was started by New England Patriots defensive lineman Deatrich Wise hitting Panthers star Christian McCaffrey late. McCaffrey spiked the ball at Wise and multiple Carolina players rushed to assist the running back.

To make matters worse a Patriots fan was caught in the middle of the fracas.  Wise ended up falling on a woman who was seated in the front row at the Gillette Stadium practice field.

See the report below:

You can see some of the altercation below. If you watch the right side you will see where Wise got shoved into the first row of fans.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, as the woman Wise landed on was luckily not injured. The woman in question reportedly refused medical attention and was offered tickets to a Patriots game later this season.

It’s great to see passion from players during a meaningless scrimmage, but you know things have gotten carried away when a 270-pound defensive end lands on a fan.
