NFL Preseason Betting: One Wager Has Been Dominating Through The First Week Of Action

The NFL season is officially back, and even though it might be hard to predict, bettors are flocking to the preseason to get their fix in already.

Luckily, there’s one glaring trend that should be easy enough for even beginner gamblers to focus in on: the over is hitting at an insane rate.

After the preseason games on Saturday, it was revealed that the over now hit 13 out of the 16 preseason games. The only game that didn’t cash the over on Saturday was the Bears and Chiefs game from a worn-down Soldier Field in Chicago.

Obviously, the over hitting in so many games is just proof that the NFL is now completely an offensive league.

Also, with position battles and backup players playing all over, it becomes even harder to stop any competent offense in Week one.

Today, there’s just one more NFL Preseason game on the slate when the Vikings take on the Raiders. For now, the over/under is sitting at just 37.5 per Draftings, and has continued to come up since starting off a point lower at opening.

Unfortunately, though, the Vikings will be forced to start backup QB Sean Mannion after Kirk Cousins tested positive for COVID.

“I like the way he handled it,” Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell said, “reporting the symptoms and just going through our in-house process here. I’m proud of how he did that, looking out for his teammates and making sure that we’ll get him back ready to roll as soon as possible.”

Either way, it’s worth a shot at taking the over once again.
