DK Metcalf Claps Back At People Hating On Russell Wilson’s Relationship With Ciara

Russell Wilson may no longer be DK Metcalf’s quarterback, but that doesn’t mean the receiver is going to stop having his back.

Lately, many people have been slamming Russ’ relationship with longtime partner, Ciara. And when someone on social media called the QB “corny”, Metcalf had enough.

“Great Man, Great Father, Great Husband,” he said to the online troll.

Earlier in the week, former NFL player Channing Crowder said on his podcast that Ciara was only with Russell Wilson because of his money.

“If Russell didn’t have that bread Ciara wouldn’t be with him. Russell is square. Ciara has a good situation, but you don’t leave Future and get with Russell Wilson,” he said.

Seemingly in response, Russell Wilson posted a bible verse about self-control.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Russell Wilson has been with Ciara since their marriage in 2016, since having two kids together. The pair have been seemingly happy, often sharing moments of their family’s lives on social media.

It feels a little crazy for someone who has likely never talked to Ciara in their life to talk about how Russell Wilson is too “square” for her. But that’s the world we’re living in.
