Deshaun Watson’s Counsel, Representatives Reportedly React to the Six Game Ruling

Looks like not everyone is happy about the length of Deshaun Watson’s suspension.

Representatives for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson reportedly are said to be “displeased” with Monday’s announcement of a six-game suspension levied by former judge Sue Robinson and believe there should be no suspension, per Josina Anderson of CBS Sports.

Twitter reacted to the news:

The NFL wanted an indefinite suspension of no shorter than one year, according to Andrew Beaton of the Wall Street Journal.

Watson was accused of sexual assault, sexual misconduct by at least 25 women who filed civil lawsuits against him. He settled all but one of the lawsuits, with three of them coming hours before his suspension announcement.

Watson should thank his lucky stars it was only 6 games.
