Demaryius Thomas’ Mother Calls Out Non Profit For Lying, Using His Name

Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas died at the young age of 33.

The former All-Pro was found dead in his home. Preliminary reports, according to police, indicated Thomas’ death might have resulted from a medical issue.

Now it looks like someone is trying to use Demaryius’ name, claiming Demaryius founded the organization.  The “Gladiators hub”  took to Twitter claiming the former NFL star started the non-profit organization.

See their tweet below.

Thomas’ mother Michelle Stuckey took to Social Media to call out the organization. She called it fake, and said they never received permission to use her son’s name.

“This is so not true. This is was not founded by DT. Do your own research and come to your own conclusions. It’s sad the length some people will go through to try and get the credibility, respect, and support DT have from so many people.”

See her post below:

She goes on to say,  “The permission to try and create this nonprofit wasn’t given by his father nor myself to anyone”

DT announced his retirement from the NFL in June of last year with a short video with a peace sign and his characteristic smile.

“I’m Demaryius Thomas. I finally came to a decision to hang it up. … I’m going to retire and I’m going to retire a Denver Bronco,” he said. “… I’m done and I did well.”

This is really sad. RIP Demaryius.
