Colin Cowherd Roasted Over Latest Take Involving Carson Wentz

FS1’s Colin Cowherd has made a career off bold takes, but his latest had pretty much every NFL fan scratching their heads.

During “The Herd” this week, Cowherd did a segment where he ranked the quarterbacks in the NFC East. And even though Wentz was thrown out the door after just one year in Indy, Colin ranked him #1 in the division. Yes, ahead of Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts and Daniel Jones.

Obviously, Colts owner Jim Irsay isn’t as fond of Carson Wentz as Colin Cowherd is.

After being written off in Philly, Wentz spent one season in Indy — where Irsay made it clear he couldn’t have been more done with the signal-caller after one season.

“It’s just, for us, it was just it was something that we had to move away from as a franchise — it was very obvious,” Irsay said.

Now, Carson Wentz will likely have his last chance to prove he’s a franchise quarterback in the NFL with the Commanders. And he’ll have plenty of doubters.

But hey, at least he’s got Colin Cowherd in his corner.
