Calvin Ridley Offers An Update Following Deshaun Watson News

Calvin Ridley has been a hot topic all week long.

After a judge ruled that Deshaun Watson would only be suspended for six games, people were quick to come to the defense of Ridley — who was docked with a full year suspension for gambling on NFL games.

Calvin Ridley was sitting out last season with mental health issues when he was found to be gambling on games. And even after he received his suspension, he seems to be getting healthier mentally.

Today, Ridley logged on to Twitter to share his excitement to see family, before telling everyone that he was doing “great”.

Calvin Ridley was one of the brightest young receivers in the entire NFL before stepping away from the game.

In 2020, Ridley had his best season hauling in 90 catches for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.

Regardless of his situation, I think we’re all looking forward to the day when Calvin Ridley is able to lace em’ up on Sundays again.
