Report: LeBron James Has ‘No Interest’ Playing Another Season Alongside Russell Westbrook

Some more damning reports are circulating out of Los Angeles about the fractured relationship of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and the Lakers.

Just yesterday, a report shedded light on how Westbrook would refuse to take blame for his erratic play during the film sessions last season.

Now, a new report is claiming that LeBron James has ‘no interest’ in playing with Russell Westbrook again next season.

“It’s pretty darn clear that LeBron has seen enough and he has no interest going into another year with Russ as his teammate,” NBA insider Dave Mcmenamin said during an appearance on ESPN’s The Lowe Post podcast.

It was pretty clear that LeBron James was trying to pull some strings to get Kyrie Irving traded to the Lakers earlier in the offseason. But after the Nets remained firm on their high asking price for the star point guard, it seems those talks have dwindled.

So now, the Lakers are still saddled with Westbrook as their point guard with his ridiculously high contract for next season.

When push comes to shove, LeBron James might just have to suck it up and try to make it work with Russell Westbrook one last time.

It sure sounds like a recipe for disaster, though.
