Journey Man Guard Takes a Shot at Steph Curry: He is ‘One-Dimensional’

Steph getting disrespected.

In the last year, Stephen Curry willed the Warriors to an NBA championship, hoisted the first-ever Magic Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP trophy, won the All-Star Game MVP, set the all-time 3-pointer record and earned his first NBA Finals MVP. Yet he still doesn’t have full respect from some of his peers. EuroLeague guard Mike James is one outspoken critic of Curry.

Over the weekend, James joined the “Players Choice” podcast and shared a list of his current top five players in the NBA.  Steph didn’t make his list.

“Steph, how he plays and how he gets stuff off, it’s just kinda one-dimensional at times,” James said. “He’s not the primary ball-handler a lot, and for a point guard that kinda bothers me.”

James had Durant, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic in his list.

“I think those other five can do whatever they want to do on any team in the world right now,” Mike James said. “I just don’t know about that for Steph. It’s a little murky for Steph
If you put him in Minnesota, he would still kill, but I don’t know if it would be the same.”

Steph isn’t probably too concerned with what people have to say.

He just so happens to be the greatest shooter who has ever lived.
