There’s a Strange Connection Between Kid Rock and Alabama Being Favored to Win National Championship

If you want to bet on Alabama to win the BCS Championship, this may be the year to do it.

Alabama, who were last year’s runners-up, head into the new college football campaign as the clear frontrunner at +190, with Ohio State, who won the title in 2014 and reached the final in 2020, second favorites at +350. But it’s looking more and more like Alabama will have this year’s championship in the bag, and it has very little to do with football, instead, it has everything to do with Kid Rock. Yep, you read that right.

The folks over at Hard Rock Sportsbook have pointed out an interesting connection between Kid Rock and Bama. Apparently every year Kid Rock has released an album, Alabama has won a Championship in that year.

Kid Rock released his album Bad Reputation in 2022.

Check out the funny connection below:

Obviously Kid Rock’s album being released this year has very little to do with Bama being favored to win it all,  but it definitely doesn’t hurt. Check out Alabama’s odds below:

Alabama came pretty close to winning the CFB title last year, going all the way to the final Championship game, however they were beat by the Georgia Bulldogs.

But to Kid Rock’s credit, he didn’t put out an album last year.

We’ll see if the Kid Rock album release streak for Alabama can continue…
