Bets Continue to Pour in on Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Have the NFL’s Worst Record

Some bettors are not showing much love to the Tampa Bay Bucs.

It’s been a very unusual preseason for the Tampa Bay Bucs, followed by an extremely strange offseason. First you had the whole Tom Brady retirement saga, which overshadowed Bruce Arians suddenly retiring. Rumors were swirling that Tom had plans to play elsewhere, but ultimately nothing panned out.  Tom decided it was his best move to give it one more go with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team only one season removed from winning a Super Bowl.  We’ve been keeping track on all the bets coming in on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this preseason,  and they have been pretty polarizing to say the  least.

Bettors are either loving them or hating them.  The latest wager is just another prime example of that. Another bet has come in the Bucs to finish with the NFL’s worst record.

See the bet below via Caesars Sportsbook:

This bettor placed a $300 wager on the Bucs to finish dead last, which would pay out a cool One Hundred Grand.  Anyone who is placing money on Tom Brady to finish in last place in the NFL must be taking a flyer on him retiring, or getting injured early on. How else could you justify betting on the Bucs to  be worse than the Jaguars, Jets, or Falcons?

The Bucs are all in again to win another Super Bowl with Tom Brady, who is only under contract for one more season. He should get a boost working with new Head Coach Todd Bowles.

Do you really dare bet against Brady’s latest attempt to go out on top? He’s won 29 games, a Super Bowl and is 5-1 in the playoffs the past two seasons.

Enough said.
